Ok, let’s first make it clear that I am bad at writing these “About Us” sections. You would believe me if you see my dating profile.

So let’s start.

The year was 2016. Final year of college. While most of the other students went for jobs, me and my dear friend Sam thought it would be cool to give doing something of our own a try. Rookie mistake. And so we started making anime merch under the name “ComicSense“.

We started by selling in college fests, on amazon, our own website and comic cons. All this was within the Indian market only. Few years went by. We grew from 2 people to a team of 15 people, had our instagram deleted 6 times till now (twice at 70,000) and our designs stolen by many global brands. Many. A lot.

And so in 2024 we thought of going global ourselves. We had to change the name cause we can’t risk getting our insta deleted again. So we started “DatteHameHa“. Now we travel around the world under the excuse of doing comic cons. It’s fun. Most of the time.
